Help with picking the type of paints by Annie Sloan

- Chalk Paint: A velvety matte furniture paint that is water-based and usually does not require preparation. It can be used on various surfaces such as furniture, floors, wood, glass, metal, and plastic. It can be used both indoors and outdoors, including on walls that need breathable paint. It is recommended to finish with Chalk Paint Wax or Chalk Paint Lacquer for protection.

- Satin Paint: This paint provides a hard-wearing silky mid-sheen lustre and has self-levelling properties. It is specifically designed for high traffic areas and does not need to be finished with wax or lacquer. It is best used for interior wood and metal applications, including trims, bannisters, radiators, windowsills, skirting, millwork, and wooden furniture.

- Wall Paint: This water-based paint is durable, wipe-clean, and pigment-packed. It has low VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and is suitable for interior walls.
